December 8, 2000: New Found Glory, Midtown, River City High, Hot Rod Circuit, the Stryder, and Dashboard Confessional @ St. Andrew's Church, College Park, MD

I didn't go to this show but I'm sure it was huge. This show represented all that was wrong with "punk" bands going the corporate route. Jamie Arthurs booked it. Carl Caracia made the flyer.

It was indeed huge, I taped it for the long lost Vol 2 of Step One. I gave a copy to NFG at some point. The bass players brother archvied all that shit for them, not sure if it will ever see the light of day. I think Dashboard was just him acoustic, no band, but that could be another show.

Mike - my memory is a little bit hazy BUT i think we actually did go to this show after seeing AVAIL play at the nation the same night. I think there were close to 1000 people at this NFG show.

Your memory is way better than mine. It's definitely possible. What Avail show was it? Who else played?

I was at this show. People still don't believe when I tell the story about it that these bands were on this show for that price. Huge crowd. Chris did have a bass player with him on some of the songs. Girls were crying in audience during some of his songs. It was nuts, never saw anything like it. Stryder was missing bassist Nick Wendel. Greg of West Beverly filled in for him for this loop.
