May 6, 2000: Page 99, Daybreak, Kissing Contest, The Others @ Ottobar, Baltimore, MD

This was the 2nd show I attended on May 6, 2000. This was the record release show for Page 99's Document #5 and Daybreak's split 7" with Ultimate Warriors, if I remember correctly. This looks like a Tony Pence flyer. I can't remember anything about Kissing Contest or The Others. I love the little note to the under-agers about bringing a fake ID or helping the bands load their equipment in to get into the show.

    if i remember correctly kissing contest was a female-fronted poppy type band featuring mike taylor of pg99.

    the others was another VA band. I don't remember watching them that day though

    i wasn't at the show but kissing contest was mike and johnny from pg99 and amy and emily from princessed.

    I did make this flier art was taken from an issue of DORK by Evan Dorkin I think I made another cat themed flier as well. Oddly I don't remember a single detail about this show otherwise.

    I still have all kinds of pictures from this show...and a really good one of Tony from Daybreak. Great times, the old Ottobar was packed that night!
