December 14th, 1997: Floorpunch, Ensign, RainOnTheParade, Fastbreak, StrengthOfReason, Bane, Rancor, ForTheLiving, Longshot @ 180 Club, Hagerstown, MD

To be honest, I have little recollection of this show. That's kinda sad. I remember being super stoked and having a hell of a lot of fun, I mean, what a line up, but I'm gonna need some help from my loyal readers on this one pertaining to details from the show.

Speaking of my terrible memory, I was discussing this blog and perusing some flyers I have with a friend of mine this weekend and he had so many great anecdotes and memories from a lot of them that I either wasn't aware of or had totally forgotten, so I strongly encourage all of you to add your stories and recollections to the comments section.

My old band (Strength Of Reason) played this show. Atari and Ten Yard Fight also played. Rancor used pics from this show for the Never Hold back 7".

Tad Thomas, Chadd Wolfe and Jimmy Platt booked most of the "youth crew" shows during the 180's heyday. They also ran a screen printing business called Attitude and worked with ARA for a few years. I wonder whatever happened to those dudes...

OMG, I totally remember the Attitude catalog. I thought they were a bunch of PA kids...didn't know they were out Hagerstown way.

Mike, you need to eat some Omega-3s. Your memory is for shit.

Was in FTL at the time and I remember a little of the SOR set. Atari and I think Ten Yard Fight played. Pics from this show were used for the Floorpunch LP. I remember this is when Bane was not that big yet and the 2nd 7" was out and I was very stoked on them. Hagerstown was a weird town then (maybe now?) because the downtown area was a ghost town on the weekends. We would always eat at the pizza place before or during every show. I also wonder what happened to the ARA guys. Last I heard they were doing the ARA thing and tagging along on the Warped tour. Great show!
